Activities at the Beach

Founded in 1996 as Chesapean Kayak Tours, this was the first company in Virginia to offer guided kayak dolphin tours. Operating now as Chesapean Outdoors, they still offer guided dolphin tours as well as stand-up paddle-board tours, bike tours, surf lessons, rentals, adventure camps, corporate outings and team building events for groups of all sizes. You will not be disappointed if you spend your day with them! 

Travel on an aquatic journey from the shore to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Experience coastal habitats from around the world. You will see thousands of animals representing over 300 species, displayed in entertaining and educational exhibits. They are ready to enchant, entertain and inspire you! The Aquarium is easily an all day adventure. Check out the 3D Movie Theater, and the eco boat tours they offer. 

This waterpark has been a part of our family summer tradition as long as I can remember. We had season passes for years. There are more than 30 rides, slides, and attractions here. Plenty to do for everyone in the family. You will love the new lazy river. Do something different for a day. Plenty of food and drinks here too. Enjoy your day at the park! 

This is one of our best kept secrets. Problem is...it doesn't need to be a secret. It is a fantastic museum with an unbelievable display of airplanes! The museum is kept alive by veterans. It is a treasure. If you have a chance to visit, you should. It is about 30 minutes from the beach house. 

There’s nothing like a day at The Adventure Park! This amazing aerial forest park features climbing and zip lining through majestic trees near the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center’s Marsh Pavilion.  This treetop experience is for everyone 5 years old and above. Make some fun family memories in the air!  

Welcome to the only Petting Zoo in Virginia Beach. Hunt Club Farm has a host of fun things for the kiddos. You are sure to have a lot of different activites from the bird walk to the petting zoo to pony rides to the playground. Pack snacks or grab some at their small market. $6 per person/2 & under free. Pony rides extra charge. This farm is sure to bring something memorable to your vaca! 

They been in business since the 80’s and have a spotless safety record.  My son worked there for a summer & they take safety and fun seriously. As of right now this is the only place in Virginia Beach that offers top notch parasailing, jet ski rentals, and banana boating riding.

You will be out on the Oceanside of things where you will see more waves than you do at our beachhouse. I know you won't be disappointed if you get to spend some of your day with these guys! 

You can rent paddle boards or kayaks and have them delivered to the beachhouse upon your arrival. There are so many beautiful things to see from the water view you can get from a paddle board or a kayak. Rent for a day or a week.

All deliveries and pick ups MUST be done during the length of your stay. Please have equipment delivered AFTER you physically arrive and return all equipment the day PRIOR to your check out. All boards or kayaks must be kept on the deck inside the fenced area locked up when not in use. We are NOT responsible for any damage, theft, or stolen equipment. 

Watch shows at night where the streets at the Oceanfront come alive.  From magicians to musicians, the party starts in the summer and stretches from 17th- 25th St. on Atlantic Ave.  When we have guests come in town during the summer, we always take them down to the oceanfront to see what is happening. BeachStreetUSA never lets us down. There is something for everyone. 

Also several nights in the summer you can take the whole family and watch an outdoor movie on 29th street. You can view the upcoming concerts taking place at the Oceanfront and see all the themed weekends during the year. This website holds the key to all things fun in Va Beach!
